Peak Performance is a mobile app for managing CrossFit gyms, developed by David Sánchez(“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the app, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.
By using Peak Performance you agree to the practices described in this policy. Your gym, as the administrator of your membership, may also have its own policies regarding the handling of your data at its facilities.
Account data. First name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), and password (stored encrypted, never in plain text).
Profile data. Profile picture (if you choose to upload one), sex, and body weight (optional, used only to compare results fairly between athletes).
Gym activity. Workout results (WODs), personal records (PRs), class registrations, and booked schedules.
Payments and memberships. Gym staff may record the amount, method (cash, debit, or credit), and category of your membership payments or purchases in the app. We do not process or store card numbers: payments are collected in person at the gym.
Notifications. A device identifier (push token) used to send you notifications about classes, results, or gym announcements, if you enable them.
Technical data. Session credentials (tokens) stored securely on your device to keep you signed in.
The app requests an audio-related permission on Android solely to play the workout timer’s sound cues (countdowns). We do not record, access, or transmit audio from your microphone.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.
Your information is visible to the staff (coaches, administrators, and front desk) of the gym you belong to, since the app is designed for them to manage your membership and athletic activity. We do not share your information with other gyms or with third parties outside the platform, except:
Your data is stored on servers with restricted access. Passwords are stored encrypted, and sessions use authentication tokens with a limited lifetime. Even so, no system is 100% secure; we recommend you never share your login credentials.
You can request to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or close your account, by emailing davidsnhr@gmail.com or by contacting your gym directly. We will handle your request within a reasonable time, unless we must retain certain information for legal or accounting obligations (for example, payment history).
Peak Performance is intended for general use at gyms. If a minor uses the app, they should do so under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or guardian, and of the gym itself, which is responsible for registering its members.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the app or by email. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, reach out to us at davidsnhr@gmail.com.
